The Queen guitarist continued: “I completed mapping out the track, sang the entire thing as a demo, together with the added ‘Wings of Butterflies’ part, which someway appeared in my head very late one evening, and I performed it to him when he was subsequent within the studio.

“The melody referred to as for some very demanding high notes, and I’d solely been in a position to ‘demo’ them in falsetto.

“I stated to Freddie, ‘I don’t need you pressure your self – these things is not going to be straightforward in full voice, even for you!’

“He stated, ‘Don’t fear – I’ll f***ing nail it, Darling!’.”
