In an interview with Fresh Air in 1985, Cynthia spoke about her relationship with John, and certainly how they dealt along with his growing fame.

One of the tales she informed about John and her time on tour was arriving at his lodge room to see quite a lot of groupies ready for him and his fellow band members.

She informed the publication: “Well, truly, the primary expertise — which was humorous for all of us — [was] once we first got here to New York, and we have been staying on the Plaza, and I feel it was [popular DJ] Murray The Ok was there.

“He was the primary disc jockey that we might ever met, American disc jockeys. I used to be very impressed. He occurred to be there.

“And within the room, there have been kind of all these draped, lovely women.
